Celebrating 40 Years of Craftsmanship, Innovation, and Excellence
The Edo State Welders Association (ESWA) stands as a beacon of excellence, rooted in the values of craftsmanship, pride, and innovation. Since its inception in 1984 and official registration in 1986 under the leadership of our revered founder PA Richard Ijiebor, ESWA has continually evolved to meet the growing demands of the welding industry, contributing to the economic and infrastructural development of Edo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Driven by a mission to unite, empower, and elevate welders, ESWA has fostered a thriving community where traditional welding techniques meet modern innovation. Our association is more than just a platform—it’s a movement, deeply committed to advocating for the rights, growth, and professional development of every welder in Edo State.

What We Do
At the heart of ESWA lies our commitment to the growth of the welding profession. Through strategic programs, member-focused services, and industry collaborations, we work tirelessly to uplift welders and position them as key contributors to Edo State’s socio-economic development
As technology evolves, so too must the skills of the welder. ESWA offers a wide range of training programs designed to equip our members with modern welding techniques, safety protocols, and the latest advancements in welding technology.
We are the unwavering voice of welders in Edo State. ESWA engages with government bodies, private sector stakeholders, and community leaders to advocate for better working conditions, fair compensation, and policies that benefit welders.
We believe in the power of innovation. As welding technology advances, ESWA works closely with our members to integrate new technologies, such as laser welding and automated systems, into traditional practices. We encourage creative thinking and foster an environment where innovation thrives.
Welders play a pivotal role in the infrastructural and economic development of Edo State. From large-scale public works to bespoke metal designs for private clients, ESWA welders have left an indelible mark on the state’s landscape. By providing high-quality welding services
